The intentional spiritual development of students is one of the most important things we do at Cedar Park Christian Schools. Through Bible classes, mission trips, weekly chapel and regular daily interactions, our hope is that students develop a biblical worldview and are continually growing in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men. (Romans 12:2, Luke 2:52)

Expected Student Outcomes

Spiritual Formation

  • CPCS students are reminded of God’s love and their value to Him as seen Ephesians 3:14-19
(“For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.)
  • CPCS students are taught to share God’s love and render service according to His good will in our local and global communities. (Ephesians 6:7)(Galatians 5:13)

  • CPCS students are regularly instructed from God’s word and are taught that it is the essential ingredient to the fruitfulness of their everyday life. (2 Timothy 2:15)
(2 Timothy 2:15 – “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth”.)
  • CPCS students are reminded that God has a plan and purpose for their life. (Jeremiah 29:11 ) (Ephesians 2:10)
(Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.) (Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”)

Cultural Engagement

CPCS gives students the opportunity to live out God’s call of doing justice, loving kindness and walking in humility, leading others through faith, compassion, and service. (Micah 6:8)

Micah 6:8 – “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness And to walk humbly with your God?”

CPCS gives students the opportunity to develop the relational maturity needed to work effectively and live in harmony with all people. (Romans 15:5,6)

Romans 15:5,6 – “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

CPCS helps students aspire to excellence as they develop their unique passions and learn to live in such a way as to influence their communities for Christ. (Romans 12:2)
